Le célèbre acteur de Nollywood Yul Edochie est en deuil. Il a perdu son fils aîné Kambilichukwu Leo des suites d’une crise dans la soirée de ce mercredi 29 mars 2023. Selon les médias nigérians, le jeune Kambilichukwu est décédé mercredi 29 mars, à la suite d’une crise alors qu’il jouait au football avec ses amis.

Les circonstances entourant la mort tragique de Kambilichukwu sont encore floues, mais selon les informations rapportées par les médias nigérians, il avait appris toute la nuit précédente en préparation de son examen du lendemain. Après avoir passé son examen mercredi, il a décidé de se détendre en jouant au football avec ses amis. Alors qu’il jouait, il a soudainement fait une crise et s’est effondré sur le terrain. Transporté immédiatement à l’hôpital Mother and Child, le jeune homme a été confirmé mort par les médecins, rapporte Beninwebtv.

Kambilichukwu avait célébré ses 16 ans en janvier dernier, et ses parents, Yul Edochie et May, avaient partagé des messages touchants sur les réseaux sociaux pour célébrer cette occasion spéciale. It is with immense sadness and regret that we note the tragic passing of 16-year-old, Yul Edochie Jr., the eldest son of renowned Nigerian actor, Yul Edochie.

Mr. Edochie, known for such major works as “Dry”, “The Journey of Life” and “Stolen Waters” shared the heartbreaking news of the death of his son on his Instagram account. He did not elaborate on the cause of death.

The actor’s fans were shocked and deeply saddened by the news, expressing their condolences and support for the family. His co-stars, including Omoni Oboli, OC Ukeje and Julius Agwu reached out with words of consolation.

From Nollywood to the All Progressives Congress and various other Nigerian outfits, there has been a flood of well-wishes for the Edochie family.

Bearing a heavy heart, Yul Edochie posted a touching tribute to his son on Wednesday, November 20th, expressing his grief and saying “Rest on, son of the soil, you will live forever in our hearts”.

The beloved actor and founder of Yul Edochie Foundation has requested prayers in this difficult and tragic period for their family. May the soul of young Yul Edochie Jr. rest in perfect peace.
